The Objective of the department is to advance the understanding and practices of marketing and international business disciplines.

Faculty advance the discipline of marketing and international business through research, writing, and involvement in professional associations. They improve the practice of marketing and international business with a progressive curriculum for full- and part-time students. 

The Marketing program prepares students for marketing positions in retail management, industrial sales, promotion, marketing research, or marketing management, and equip them with the comprehensive knowledge necessary to assume upper management positions in the marketing function.

The International Business program prepares student for all functional areas of business for a culturally diverse global environment. Most of the majors are hired as export officer, customs broker, freight forwarder, and international sales.

Admission to the College of Business typically occurs at the beginning of the student's junior year. Admission to the College does not guarantee entrance to a program. Check with the individual programs for admission requirements. College requirements include the following:
